Geary's Bar plays host to a range of sporting clubs within the town and the many clubs passing through.
Ger and Corina are active members of Charleville RFC.
Corinas brother Claude played hurling and football with Rathluirc GAA for many years.

Head Barman Brian Barrett is a member of  Rathluirc GAA,Rathluirc GAA Golf Society ,
Charleville Golf Club and Charleville Soccer Club
He also holds two medals for the intermediate Irish Dancing Championship held in Cavan in 1994  Brians Irish Dancing School
Eoin Dillon is member of Milford GAA ,UCC and Cork U21.
