Nuts Corner

If you're looking for legends look no further than " Nuts Corner" in Geary's Bar Charleville.
Conversations can range from the Irish Civil War to how bad our roads are and gossip from Bagdad to Buttevent.

Rumour has it that you must be able to sup a good few pints or some vino,
have a serious knowledge of the daily newspapers,horses, rugby, soccer, hurling,
politics, wine, music, and even a dab of religion, before you are even allowed within yards of nuts corner.

Not to mention of course that this section of the bar is strictly over 45s!

Many a legend has come and gone, all stories, debates heated and warm are
remembered and discussed over and over again!
